  • 摘要:This research tackles human recourse management and its role in applying total quality management to be applied in Sudanese thermal generating company during the period from 2002 to 2011. The problem of this research is that there is misconception in managerial philosophy of human resources in Sudanese organizations,besides,restricting its role in the classic tasks such as taking attendance,saving personnel records. Moreover,ignorance of the strategic roles of this management is represented in setting plans and strategies. Training and planning of manpower besides in considering of the concept of total quality Management which seeks employees satisfaction. This study is significant as human resources management(HRM) is crucial in organization due to dealing directly with mankind who is regarded as one of the crucial production income generators,and as the power affecting the identity of the organization and its traits. This research aims at knowing the role of HRM in applying total quality management through the following hypotheses: there is a correlation of statistical significance between HRM and spreading of the concept of total quality management in a company. There is also a correlation between practicing HRM,for its functions according to HRM concepts,and realizing company employees satisfactions. There is also a correlation of statistical significance between the support of the high management and the success of applying HRM. The researcher has followed the descriptive analytic method to describe the phenomenon under investigation to analyze the randomly collected samples from the population of about 97 persons including managers,head departments and employees. The researcher has used a questionnaire to collect data and field information as its relevance to the nature of the research and its problem. SPSS is used to analyze data. The researcher has come up with some results such as: there is no significant correlation of statistical significance between HRM and spreading the culture of total quality in Sudanese thermal generating company. There is a correlation of statistical significance between human resource planning and employees satisfaction in Sudanese thermal generating company. The researcher recommends that human resource managers in this company should consider total quality management as an integrated managerial system declare for all employees to dispose of the traditional managerial styles with the aim of reaching sustainable improvement in all the company activities as well as spreading the concepts of total quality in the company..
