摘要：In this study,the folk songs,the folk dances,the apparel style of Kastamonu Region and the theme of woman which is expressed in the lyrics of five folk songs were researched. While the population of this research are the theme of woman,the folk songs,dances and clothing of Kastamonu region;the sample is the theme of woman which is expressed in the lyrics of five folk songs chosen from the whole folk songs and the usage of women's traditional dress nowadays. In the scope of this research,the properties such as social status of women,their place in society,how it is held in the songs in terms of their identity,the place and importance of the women in folk dance, how it reflects their style of dress to folk songs are addressed. In this study,the woman of Kastamonu who have preserved their culture and still keep them today and the importance of the action are analyzed..
