摘要:This article aims to describe (1) the psychological conflict experienced by the main character. (2) psychological symptoms that affect the behavioral aspects of the main character to solve life problems;(3) the value of education in the novel entitled Kerumunan Terakhir is relevant as the subject material of the Indonesian Language Lesson. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The main sources of data in this study were excerpts from the novel of the Kerumunan Terakhir analyzed by the literary psychology approach of Sigmeund Freud. Other data were interviews with experts to provide justification for the suitability of data with the novel reviewed. The research findings the novel is relevant as a means of character education based on the problems faced by the main character. The content of the novel matches the life of the students and also the values contained in it can be taken as an educational value as well as a guide to everyday life because it provides moral,ethical,and humanitarian lessons amid modern technological advances. The novel has the conclusion that the power of the technological revolution is as powerful as the industrial revolution's power in the world. Through this novel,the author wants to invite us to think more critically,not just follow up the others,and follow something normative. In addition,reading this novel will create sensitivity to the surrounding environment so that it will form a tolerant attitude,do kindness,respect,and live peacefully in the world..
