标题：Investigation of the Effects of Life Satisfaction and Hopelessness on Substance Abuse Tendency in Sports Science Faculty Students

摘要：This study was conducted to examine the effects of life satisfaction and hopelessness on the substance abuse tendency of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Faculty students. The research group consists of 422 students,220 of which are females and 202 of which are males. In the research,the Item Use Tendency Scale,Life Satisfaction Scale,and Beck Hopelessness Scale were used as data collection tools. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using SPSS for Windows 22.0 program. Number,percentage,average and standard deviation were used as descriptive statistical methods in the evaluation of the data. The t-test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between two independent groups and the One way Anova test was used to compare quantitative continuous data between more than two independent groups. Scheffe test was used as a complementary post-hoc analysis to determine the differences after the Anova test. Pearson correlation and regression analysis were used among the continuous variables of the study. As a result;It has been concluded that the life satisfaction of students of the faculty of sports sciences decreases the tendency to use substances and hopelessness increases the tendency to use substances. It was determined that the loss of motivation,which is among the sub-dimensions of hopelessness,was effective in this increase.
