摘要:Since the days of mankind there has been a need for exchange of information and the means of communication that are used in parallel with the change of civilization levels have changed. The most popular communication tools used today are known as television and internet. Television serves as a window to the world for children. The most preferred television program for children is cartoons. The purpose of this study is to identify these cartoon films that children are watching and to see if these preferences are a reason. For this general purpose,the survey method in which the views of the students are taken is used. The sample of the study consisted of 181 students from different levels of 5 primary schools in the province of Trabzon. It has been determined that the students are mostly watching "Rafadan Tayfa" at 1st grade level,"Winx Club" at 2nd grade level,"Rafadan Tayfa" at 3rd grade level and "Heidi","Gumball" and "Esrarengiz Kasaba" at 4th grade level. Cartoons that were watched according to class levels were seen to be different. It is noteworthy that the heroes of cartoons,which are shown to children with particularly negative behaviors,also have these characteristics. On the other hand,it was determined that the domestic cinematographic films had higher viewing rates in the students who showed positive behavior characteristics. It is suggested that parents should be selective to choose the cartoons that their children watch.
