  • 摘要:Based on the ministerial regulation number 16 in 2007,field practice of teaching (PPL) is a method to develop competencies that highly needed in teacher profession.The research aims to 1) Evaluate the PPL implementation in the developing teacher candidate competencies.2) Explore the barriers in the PPL implementation.The resource persons in this study were students that already taken the PPL.The data also obtained from some documents that relevant with PPL implementation.The collecting data techniques were questioner,interview,and documentation.Resource triangulation model and triangulation method used for data validation.This research used interactive analytical model.The results were the followings: 1) Observation in school activities gave the teacher trainee much information that very useful for developing their competencies.2) Most teacher trainee taught in not their major lesson (economics or accounting).3) The teacher trainee did not get much opportunity to practice (only two times) and they did not get any special guidance from teacher advisor.4) The teacher trainee could self teaching practice more than 4 times.5) The experience of making lesson plan was enough.6) The teacher trainee got much experience in extra activities in school.7) The competencies achievement was fairly good.8) Most teacher trainee still took another lecture at campus.9) The lecture in campus disturbed teacher activities.10) The teacher trainee needed to improve their capability in using learning method and learning media.
