摘要:Invasive and nonirwasive methods are used to evaluate the anaerobic threshold (AT).The most frequently employed invasive method is to determine the 4.0 mmol/l lactate threshold.The respiratory quotient (RQ) is often used as a noninvasive approach to obtain information about the AT.Our purpose was to determine the correlation between these two different methods.We tested 32 male students on a bicycle ergometer according to a gradually increasing workload protocol.Spiroergometric analysis (Oxyconbeta) was used for continuous monitoring.Ear lobe capillary blood lactate was evaluated in each stage.VO2 and time scores at 4.0 mmol/l lactate and at RQ=1.0 were compared.The correlations between the two methods for the VO2 and time values were respectively 0.75 and 0.81.
