摘要：In the energy industry,smart metering and sensor technology provides access to unprecedented amount of information,thus rapidly expanding a dissimilar and compound big set of data which is handled by the Energy Management Systems. This manuscript per the authors presents a generic architecture of Energy Management System suited to handle structured,semi-structured and unstructured data,coming from various sources in a heterogeneous workload. The paper focuses on the main operational subsystems and the database management challenge in the Internet of Things.
