摘要:This study is aimed at describing the implementation process of Cooperative Learning model type NHT,determine the increase in student activity and cognitive aspects of learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning model type NHT in the subject matter of animal tissues in class XI SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The method used is classroom action research which consists of four stages:planning,implementation,observation,and reflection. The subject is students of class XI IPA5 SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The success indicators of the research are the implementation model of Cooperative Learning NHT in accordance with the syntax referenced,student activities during the learning process is able to achieve a good category for all aspects of assessment,and the percentage of learning cognitive aspects of the students were able to achieve gain value category was 00.30 < g ≤ 0.70. The research instruments are pretest and posttest quiz,student activity observation sheet,and learning process observation sheets. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model of NHT accordance referenced syntax that includes numbering,questioning,head together,and answering. The increased of student activity in the first cycle and the second cycle was 0.28 and 0.43. The increased of the student’s concept understanding in the first cycle and the second cycle was 71.43% dan 80.52%.
