摘要:This research was about implementation of the learning process with scientific approach according to 2013 curriculum to biology subject at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Kotamadya Yogyakarta both of public and private schools. This research was a discrepancy with descriptive research that wanted to compare the implementaion of the learning process at the school with scientific approach according to 2013 curriculum with learning process demand according to process standards in 2013 curriculum. Samples were taken throughout all public and private MA in Kotamadya Yogyakarta that has biologycal subjects. Observation of the learning carried out at the class X which had implemented curriculum 2013. Data were collected from two public schools and three private schools. Public schools were MAN Yogyakarta 1 and MAN Yogyakarta 2,meanwhile private school were MA Mualimin Yogyakarta,MA Mualimat Yogyakarta,and MA Nurul Ummah Yogyakarta. Instruments in this research were the observation sheet of teachers and student learning activities and also camcorders to record the learning activities. Data collected were notes and recording of the the learning activities in the classroom. Data were analyzed descriptively using analysis sheet which is adopted from learning observation sheet with scientific approach according to the 2013 curriculum. The results showed that the implementation of the five basic learning experiences in a scientific approach according to 2013 curriculum was not optimal. There was no differences between the status of the school with implementation of five basic learning experiences in the scientific approach according to the 2013 curriculum.
