摘要:The purpose of this research were to determine whether the implementation of Resource Based Learning and Problem Based Learning effective to the problem solving ability of students on circle topic, especially on the equation of tangent line and determine whether the implementation of Resource Based Learning was better than Problem Based Learning. The population in this research was student of class XI Science SMA Negeri 3 Semarang academic year 2012/2013. Samples were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The data were obtained with test method were analyzed by t-test and proportion test. The results of this research showed that students of experiment and control classes have achieved classical of mastery learning.Students activities of experiment and control class achieved the criteria very active. Teacher performance during the learning process reaches the criteria very good.The conclusions are implementation of Resource Based Learning and Problem Based Learning model effective to the problem solving abilities and implementation of Resource Based Learning is better than Problem Based Learning.
