摘要：Por meio de um estudo de caso teve-se como objetivo conhecer o lugar que o trabalho ocupa na vida de um ex-detento, de que forma esse sujeito se depara com o mundo após sua saída da prisão e como o trabalho perpassa suas relações sociais pós-presídio. Procurou-se, especificamente, verificar se o trabalho contribui para que um expresidiário não reincida no crime. Para tal, foi adotado como metodologia de pesquisa o método de recolhimento da história de vida, que analisará as condições subjetivas e objetivas do sujeito pesquisado na perspectiva da Psicologia do Trabalho e da Psicossociologia.
其他摘要：The objective of the case study is to learn of the role that work plays in the life of former prison inmate, how this person faces the world after his release from prison and how work affects his post-prison social relations. We seek to verify, specifically, whether work helps a former prisoner not be a recidivist. To this end, we adopted as research methodology the method of collecting the life history, examining, then, the subjective and objective conditions of the research subject from the perspective of Work Psychology and Psychosociology.
