  • 摘要:The development of the domestic banking business requires stakeholders to expose their best performance with any available resources they own. The performance assessment owned by a company should encourage motivation to increase productivity for each employee. Productivity, as a measure of employee performance, is an important factor for a company in achieving its goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of performance assessment on employee performance, particularly in the marketing field. Thus, partial least square (PLS) was utilized to examine the influence of performance assessment on performance. The result shows that the assessment contributes an influence on the motivating factor reaching up to 78%, while the motivating factor affects the performance as much as 44%. Hence, it can be concluded that the assessment of performance affects the employee performance in the presence of motivation supporting factor.
