摘要：Pelas próprias mãos uma mulher desejou que, através da educação de crianças desvalidas outras tantas mulheres vislumbrassem condições de vida melhor. Desse modo, o presente estudo se propõe a realizar um ensaio biográfico sobre a educadora espírita Anália Franco, nascida no Rio de Janeiro em 1853, que embora vivendo em período difícil para as mulheres conseguiu mostrar que é possível fazer a diferença. Assim, apresentaremos a trajetória dessa educadora que nos levará à compreensão de tempos vividos em suas singularidades, emoções e identidade e com as suas contribuições à História da Educação Espírita, com as atuações marcadas por ações efetivas no campo da educação à infância desvalida, tendo como alicerce o pensamento em uma escola que atendesse e desse acesso indiscriminado às crianças, independente de sua condição social, cor e credo. A presente pesquisa, parte de uma Dissertação de Mestrado em andamento, apresentando como suporte teórico metodológico, estudos relacionados à Memória, História da Educação e Educação Feminina. Foram consultadas e analisadas diversas fontes como depoimentos orais, teses, periódicos da época e bibliografia especializada. A análise em pauta tem como objetivo compreender de que modo a sociedade visualizava a figura da educadora em tela e suas contribuições às Instituições Educativas Espíritas, bem como as marcas registradas durante sua trajetória. “BACK TO START”: The (re) construction of the history and contributions of the educator Anália Franco Abstract With their own hands a woman wished that, through education of underprivileged children other women could wish better life conditions. That way, this study aims to accomplish a biographical essay about the spiritist educator Analia Franco, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1853, that although living in difficult period for the women was able to show that it is possible to make the difference. Thus, we present the trajectory of this educator who will lead us to the understanding of time lived in their singularities, emotions and identity, and their contributions to the History of Spiritist Education, with actions in the field of underprivileged children education, based on the thought of a school that would meet the children without differentiate their social condition, color and creed. This research has as theoretical methodological support, studies related to the Memory, History of Education and Women's Education. Various sources were consulted and analyzed as oral testimonies, theses, periodicals of the time and specialized literature. The analysis in question aims to understand how society looked at the figure of the educator and and their contributions to Education institutions Spiritist, as well as its history.
