摘要：El aparato fotográfico cuya emergencia se sitúa a mediados del siglo XIX no ha sido perfectamente situado al interior de la historia de la técnica, considerándosele en ocasiones como una simple herramienta o instrumento cuya utilidad se dio principalmente en el ámbito de la investigación científica, otras veces otorgándosele el estatuto de máquina, acentuando esta vez el automatismo de su funcionamiento. Ambas visiones nos parecen insuficientes puesto tanto una como otra presentan una cierta parcialidad en la comprensión del aparato, el cual no debe ser reducido a su mero carácter óptico ni a su automatismo, puesto que este es además una forma de registro, de memoria. Nuestro interés se enfocará en demostrar cómo la fotografía debe ser pensada como « aparato », es decir, como un elemento complejo al interior de la historia de la técnica; que no solamente fue capaz de perfeccionar nuestra visión considerada como deficiente, sino que al mismo tiempo fue capaz de otorgar una nueva temporalidad y un tipo de percepción específica a toda una época.
其他摘要：The photographic apparatus whose emergence is located in the mid-nineteenth century has not been perfectly located within the history of technology, sometimes considered as a simple tool or instrument whose utility was mainly in the field of scientific research, other times giving it the status of machine, accentuating this time the automatism of its operation. Both visions seem insufficient to us since both one and the other present a certain partiality in the understanding of the apparatus, which should not be reduced to its mere optical character or to its automatism, since this is also a form of recording, of memory. Our interest will focus on demonstrating how photography should be thought of as “apparatus”, that is, as a complex element within the history of technology; that not only was able to perfect our vision considered as deficient, but at the same time was able to grant a new temporality and a specific type of perception to an entire era.
