  • 摘要:This mix method research seeks to explore the written argumentative quality based on argumentative assessment model on the concept of human physiology. The model of assessment called Argumentative Assessment by Standpoint, Scaffolding and Coding (AASSC).This research involves 121 students of the sixth semester at the biology department attending the human anatomy and physiology course. The argumentative discourses are analyzed using TAP (Toulmin Argumentation Pattern), which involves claim, warrant, backing and rebuttal components. The group?óÔé¼Ôäós written argumentative quality (KuArTKp), and the individual written argumentative quality (KuArTInd) are measured qualitatively and quantitatively based on argumentative writing worksheet (LTKTA).The AASSC instrument model is implemented through scaffolding (initiating, developing, and reinforcing stages) using certain assessment strategy and standpoint and is analyzed using a coding system. The research results reveal that the students?óÔé¼Ôäó written argumentation quality assessed using the AASSC model still need to develop.
