摘要：This article is an analysis, from a gender perspective, of how female empowerment is constructed in daily life, through the experiences of two generations of women from a support basis community of EZLN in Chiapas, Mexico. Women from Roberto Barrios, like other indigenous women who pursue similar demands, have, through their efforts, gradually obtained better living conditions, thereby giving hope to other women.
