摘要：Este trabalho teve como objetivo identificar como o ensino por investigação auxilia no processo de aprendizagem do ensino de ciências. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão de literatura sobre a abordagem metodológica ensino por investigação, em plataformas virtuais de pesquisas, intervalo de tempo de 2011 a 2015, com as seguintes palavras de pesquisa: ensino por investigação, ensino, atividades investigativas, aprendizagem e ensino de ciências. Os trabalhos pesquisados foram da área de Ensino de Ciências (Física, Química e Biologia) que apontam a metodologia de ensino por investigação como aliada no processo de ensino aprendizagem dos estudantes de Ensino Médio. Os trabalhos analisados mostraram a importância da abordagem ensino por investigação na aprendizagem dos estudantes, por meio de práticas em sala de aula no ensino de ciências. INQUIRY-BASED TEACHING IN THE LEARNING PROCESS IN SCIENCE TEACHING: LITERATURE REVIEW This study aimed to identify how teaching by research helps in the learning process of science teaching. For this, a literature review was carried out on the methodological approach inquiry-based teaching, in virtual platforms of research, interval of time from 2011 to 2015, with the following words of research: inquiry-based teaching, teaching, investigative activities, learning and teaching of science. The works researched were from the area of Science Teaching (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) that point out the methodology of teaching by research as an ally in the teaching process of the students of High School. The analyzed works showed the importance of the inquiry-based teaching approach in the learning of the students, through classroom practices in science teaching.
