摘要:In this article, we explore busking at London’s South Bank during summer 2012. The aim of the articleis to chart the different praxes of busking in London, and the official and unofficial acoustic regulationinvolved in it. As data, we use interviews of buskers and soundscape observation. We discuss soundscaperegulation during the 2012 Olympics and bring forth an understanding of busking as a multifaceted andcosmopolitan agency in the urban environment.
