摘要：O movimento sertanejo do Contestado (1912-1916) decorreu de um intricado conjunto de elementos. Contudo, no Território do Contestado, o domínio fundiário, outrora exercido pelos grandes proprietários rurais e pelo capital estrangeiro, representa motivação para adesão dos sertanejos às trincheiras do movimento. Pretende-se evidenciar que o domí- nio fundiário, do século XIX até a contemporaneidade, ainda permanece vigente neste territó- rio. Com este propósito, torna-se imprescindível apresentar dados e indicativos que corroborem a afirmação de que este fenômeno ainda se manifesta no território sob análise, e, tal como sucedeu há mais de um século, permanece influenciando a perpetuação da pobreza e exclusão social no Território do Contestado.
其他摘要：The backcountry movement Contested (1912-1916) resulted from an intricate set of elements. However, in the Contested Territory, the land domain, once exercised by large landowners and by foreign capital, is motivation for membership of country person to move the trenches. It is intended to show that the land domain, the nineteenth century to the contemporary, still remains in force in this territory. For this purpose, it is essential to present data and indications corroborating the claim that this phenomenon is still present in the territory under review, and, as happened more than a century, it remains influencing the perpetuation of poverty and exclusion in the Contested Territory
