摘要：El creciente flujo turístico para áreas naturales protegidas, además de contribuir para el financiamiento y gestión de las mismas, puede configurarse también como alternativa económica en la región en la que están insertas. Sin embargo, problemas referentes a la situación agraria y a los límites impuestos al uso de los recursos naturales hacen que la implementación de las unidades de conservación sea mal vista por la población local. De esta manera, esta investigación buscó identificar qué beneficios provenientes del turismo practicado en el Parque Nacional del Catimbau son percibidos por sus habitantes, ubicados en el Municipio de Buíque - PE. Para ello, se utilizó investigación cualitativa, puesto que se pretendía establecer un espacio de discusión respecto a la participación local en el contexto del ecoturismo, sin hacer proyecciones para toda la comunidad. Se constató que, de un modo general, estos habitantes están ajenos a la situación del parque y no perciben los beneficios de la actividad turística practicada en el lugar. Así, se espera que este trabajo contribuya para la reflexión acerca de la necesidad de crear alternativas socioeconómicas para la comunidad, insertándola activamente en la gestión de esas áreas, a ejemplo de los parques nacionales, a fin de minimizar posibles impactos negativos y de involucrarla en el proceso de protección ambiental, objetivo mayor de este tipo de unidad de conservación.
其他摘要：The increasing flow of tourists to natural protected areas, besides contributing to their financing and management, is also an economic alternative in the areas where they are located. However problems relating to land ownership and the limitations imposed to the use of the natural resources can create disapproval among the local population, surrounding the implementation of conservation units. This study therefore seeks to identify benefits resulting from tourism in the Catimbau National Park, as perceived by the local community in the municipal district of Buíque - PE. It uses a qualitative approach, since the intention was to establish a forum for discussion concerning local involvement in the context of the Ecotourism, without making projections for the whole community. It was noticed that in general, the residents are not involved in the ecotourism activities, and are unaware of the benefits of this activity. Thus, it is hoped that this study will stimulate reflection on the need to create socio-economic alternatives for the community, enabling them to be more involved in the management of these areas, such as nationals parks, in order to minimize the possible negative impacts and promote a process of environmental protection, which is the main objective of this type of conservation unit.
