摘要：Este artículo pretende, por medio de un análisis comparativo, caracterizar el método misional de la Compañía de Jesús, considerando el carisma, la estructura centralizada del instituto y el conjunto de criterios concretos que se van elaborando desde tiempos de Ignacio. Mientras el caso japonés se funda en la importancia de la racionalidad, la necesidad de profundizar en la aculturación y el rápido desarrollo de un clero indígena, el mundo americano se encuentra marcado por dos experiencias: el establecimiento de la soberanía política europea, que protege y garantiza la acción misionera y el derrumbe de las cosmovisiones indígenas prehispánicas, que lleva a los naturales a buscar en los misioneros un factor de protección frente al desarraigo y a las nuevas elites sociales. Quizás por esta razón la aculturación es de menor calado en América.
其他摘要：This article seeks to portray, through a comparative analysis, the missionary method of the Society of Jesus, considering the charisma, the centralized structure of the Institute and all the concrete criteria which has been developed since the times of Ignatius. While the Japanese method is based on the importance of rationality, the need to go more in depth in the acculturation process and in the rapid development of a native clergy, the American world is marked by two experiences: the establishment of the European political sovereignty that protects and guarantees the missionary activity, and the fall of the native, pre-hispanic cosmogony, which leads the indigenous to seek in the mission a way of protection against the uprooting of the new social elites. Perhaps it is because of this reason that the acculturation is of lesser depth in America.
