  • 摘要:El objetivo fue determinar el nivel de comprensión lectora en el área de inglés como segunda lengua en los estudiantes del tercer semestre de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Andina "Néstor Cáceres Velásquez" de la ciudad de Juliaca, 2018. Se trabajó con una muestra de 137 estudiantes, para alcanzar los objetivos, se ha utilizado la tabla estadística de frecuencias, en el marco de la Estadística Descriptiva. Se concluye que más de la mitad de los estudiantes entienden aceptablemente los textos en inglés, ya que sus calificaciones oscilan entre 14 y 17 puntos ( Logro previsto ). El 5% de los estudiantes presentan dificultades para entender, tienen notas de desaprobación entre 0 y 10 puntos. Con respecto al nivel literal, casi la mitad de los estudiantes tienen altos niveles de comprensión de lectura ( logro solvente ), sus notas oscilan entre 18 y 20 puntos. Con respecto al nivel inferencial, casi la mitad de los estudiantes se encuentran en el nivel esperado de rendimiento. Sus notas oscilan entre los 14 y los 17 puntos. En relación con el nivel crítico, el 44.5% de los estudiantes se ubican en el nivel En proceso , sus calificaciones varían entre 11 y 13 puntos.
