摘要：A abordagem enunciativa da linguagem tem, no âmbito dos estudos linguísticos brasileiros, um lugar privilegiado. Não apenas em virtude de sua profusão, mas, sobretudo, em razão da qualidade que envolve seus debates de ordem teórica e os trabalhos de cunho analítico. No entanto, algumas notas ainda parecem dignas de serem acrescentadas. Mais especificamente, aquelas que se referem ao lugar, no campo enunciativo, da Escola de Oxford, ou seja, da filosofia da linguagem ordinária, por vezes já denominada genericamente “pragmática anglosaxã”. É bem verdade que Flores e Teixeira (2005) reconhecem a relação entre os estudos enunciativos e a Escola de Oxford, representada, sobretudo, por Austin (1962), Grice (1957, 1975), Searle (1969, 1979a) e Strawson (1970). Contudo, também é verdade que, mesmo após os “lamentos” de Fuchs (1981), pouco se avançou (ao menos em terras brasileiras) no apontamento dos principais fundamentos que colocam as reflexões da filosofia da linguagem ordinária como integrantes, em certa medida, da abordagem enunciativa. Assim, este texto intenta demonstrar como três questões fundamentais à abordagem enunciativa foram desenvolvidas no seio da escola angloamericana de filosofia da linguagem ordinária – concomitantemente ao seu desenvolvimento francófono, empreendido, sobretudo, por Benveniste. Ao fim, sustentamos que, mesmo diante de recortes distintos, bem como das dificuldades subjacentes ao corpus que Austin (1962) e companhia utilizaram como fonte de exemplos, há motivos suficientes para que, tal como sugere Fuchs (1981), a Escola de Oxford seja vista como integrante do paradigma enunciativo da linguagem..
其他摘要：In the scope of Brazilian linguistics studies, the several theories of enunciation have been pride of place. Not only because of its profusion, but above all because of the quality that surrounds its theoretical debates and analytical works. However, some notes still seem worth adding; more precisely, those related to the Oxford School, this is, to the Ordinary Language Philosophy. Indeed, Flores and Teixeira (2005) recognize the link between studies of enunciation theories (mainly Benveniste's theory of enunciation) and the Oxford School, represented mainly by Austin (1962), Grice (1957, 1975), Searle (1969, 1979a) and Strawson (1970). However, it is also true that, even after Fuchs's “laments” (1981), little progress has been made (at least in Brazil) in pointing out the main foundations that place the reflections of Ordinary Language Philosophy as integral, to some degree, of the several theories of enunciation. Thus, this paper seeks to address how three fundamental questions to the theories of enunciation were developed within the Anglo-American school of Ordinary Language Philosophy – simultaneously with its French-speaking development, undertaken mainly by Benveniste. In the end, we argue that there are sufficient reasons why, as Fuchs (1981) suggests, the Oxford School is to be regarded as part of the set of theories of enunciation.
