摘要：Diante da necessidade de haver uma reflexão sobre aimportância da sexualidade para vida humana, objetivou-se desenvolver umtrabalho de pesquisa realizado junto aos alunos do 9º ano de uma escolapública do município de Uruará-Pa, verificar qual o entendimento desseseducando em relação à sexualidade. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida através dequestionários que possibilitava aos alunos expressarem seus conhecimentossobre o que lhes era interrogado. Foi observado que a concepção desexualidade está mais voltada para o aspecto biológico, sem levar emconsideração a dimensão sociocultural do indivíduo. Portanto, foi necessáriauma atuação direta com os alunos em sala de aula, onde foram ministradaspalestras que abordavam sobre o assunto. Os mesmos tiveramoportunidade para exporem suas dúvidas, onde houve um diálogo aberto eem seguida reaplicação dos questionários. Nesta segunda fase, verificou-seque boa parte dos alunos passou a entender e diferenciar sexualidade esexo, dialogar de uma forma mais descontraída e compreender aimportância desta para a vida. Daí a necessidade de uma articulaçãourgente entre família, escola e comunidade na busca de conhecer,compreender, problematizar e ajudar os adolescentes a se libertarem domedo, das dúvidas e insegurança que diz respeito à sexualidade.
其他摘要：In order to reflect on the importance of sexuality in humanlife, a study was conducted with students of the 9th grade of a public schoolin the city of Uruará-Pa aimed to assess the participants’ perception ofsexuality. This research was carried out using questionnaires that should becompleted by students to show their knowledge and understanding aboutthe issue. It has been found that the participants’ view of sexuality wasmore focused on the biological aspect, without considering the socio-culturaldimension of the individual. This required direct interaction between theteacher and the students. So, lectures on the theme were given. At thattime, the students verbalized their doubts, talked to each other and wereasked to complete the questionnaire again. In this second stage, it has beenfound that most students had a better understanding on the issue and coulddistinguish sex and sexuality. Also, they were able to talk about the issue ina more relaxed way and were aware of its importance. So, there is anurgent need to bring together families, schools and the wider community to understand and discuss the subject and help teenagers get rid of their fear, their doubts and insecurity with respect to sexuality.
