摘要:This article chooses the subject of valuating sport and its ideals as a great agent of homogenization of consciences and a materializer of a corporeity constructed with the support of new technologies to the massive media diffusion of sportive images. We present reflections oriented by the Critic Theory and other thinkers as Bourdieu, Elias, Ehrenberg who addressed the sport issue as catalyzer of a Physical and Social culture reinforced by Sports’ elements. Methodologically, theoretical findings are articulated to contemporaneous social phenomena to produce greater comprehension. The discussions indicate an association between sports ideals and the market, which is a producer of sportive merchandise and prepared “athletes” to alienated work. This way, physical and sports activities are constituted by values from the Capitalistic Industrial Society that transformed sports into a merchandise for the communicational spectacle in social networks and mass media, and also into an influence to be followed due to its continuous quest for performance and records..
