摘要：The main objective of this article is to examine the role of the ecology-oriented innovative activity in the provision of the region’s sustainable development. The authors disclose the essence of the region’s sustainable development and justify the necessity of the innovation paradigm implementation in its course. Along with that, according to the authors, the key element in this process is implementation of the innovations of the ecological nature. Formation of the regional ecologically innovative cluster is proposed as an institutional mechanism of the ecology-oriented innovative activity arrangement.
