摘要:Introduction Current educational paradigms in health science education are oriented towards professional practice. This should be reflected in clinical practice assessment, for which the incorporation of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) seems appropriate. For this reason an analysis was made of the validity, reliability, and student perception of these activities, such as the clinical assessment of removable dental prostheses. Material and methods A quantitative, correlation, non-experimental and cross-sectional study was carried out. The psychometric properties of the instruments developed under the concept of EPAs were evaluated, and a questionnaire was completed to evaluate student perception of the assessment. Results Adequate psychometric properties were observed for one of the assessment tools developed. In addition, there was a favourable perception of this tool by the students, highlighting the acceptability of the evaluation and its effective feedback. Discussion This study contributes to the use of EPAs on the assessment of clinical skills in dentistry. Its implementation in this group of students provided evidence of its reliability, validity and positive perception on their part.
