摘要:Objective To analyse the distribution of general and specific research competences assigned to Medical degree modules in 40 Universities. Material and methods The information was extracted from RUCT, verification reports, curricula and websites of the universities. The competences analysed were those contained in the Spanish Order ECI/332/2008. Results Degrees in Medicine of the 40 Universities included in the study were mainly organised into modules, matters and subjects (n = 27; 67.5%), modules and matters (n = 10; 25%), or modules and subjects (n = 1; 2.5%). Two cases did not fulfil any of these types. The general research competences are mainly distributed in the modules Social Medicine, Communication Skills and Introduction to Research (2.7 ± 0.4) and Clinical Clerkships and Degree Final Project (5.03 ± 0.3), while the specific research competences are concentrated in the modules Social Medicine, Communication Skills and Introduction to Research (6.1 ± 0.3) and Optional (1.69 ± 0.5). Conclusions The distributions of research competences in different modules were dissimilar with predominance in the module Social Medicine, Communication Skills and Introduction to Research.
