摘要:Power flow monitoring with increase in power demands that the system ought to be fully
noticeable through Power Quality Monitors (PQMs) solely. In recent years Power Quality
Monitors have wide been used for observance, management and security in power systems. The
PQM placement issue in any system network is an optimization problem. In this paper a two Level best
power quality monitor placement technique using system network property data in numerous operational
conditions is given. The projected technique at first considers PQM in all bus position of the system
network. In Level I the algorithmic rule confirm necessary significant bus locations and in Level II of
the algorithmic rule iteratively confirm strategically important bus locations whenever PQMs are
retained. Projected technique is more extended for reassuring complete observance below PQMs in the
slightest degree bus location and conjointly considering best bus location. Simulation results for IEEE
5-bus, IEEE 14-bus, IEEE 30-bus, IEEE 57-bus, IEEE 118-bus and IEEE 300- bus take a look at systems
are given and compared with the presented best PQM placement techniques. Results show that the
projected technique is easy to implement and correct compared to the different existing strategies.
