摘要:Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) is one of the emerged technology where roadside units (RSUs)
and vehicles communicate with each other. Vehicular ad hoc network can be categorized as a kind of mobile ad hoc
networks (MANETs). Vehicular ad hoc network confronts many challenges in terms of security and privacy, due to the
fact that data transmitted are diffused in an open access environment. Main goal in the designing of such networking is
to resist security attacks and other malicious abuses. However, most of the drivers want to maintain their information
discreet and protected, and they do not want to share their confidential information. So, the private information of
drivers who are distributed in this network must be protected against various threats that may damage their privacy. So
confidentiality, integrity and availability are the important security and privacy requirements in VANET.
