标题：Agrotourism in Central Region. Comparative Study with Other Development Regions of Romania

摘要：Being quasi-inexistent before 1990, rural tourism has grown dramatically in recent years. Regionally stands Center Development Region, with potential agrotourism and a higher recovery compared to other 7 regions. Areas with the most developed agro-tourism in the Central Region are: Bran-Moeciu, Mărginimea Sibiu area (traditions related to pastoral life), Corund (important centre of pottery), and some villages in the Apuseni Mountains (traditional wood processing). Although it registered some progress and occupies a leading regionally position, rural tourism still fails to capitalize as it should the significant agrotourism potential of central region. This negative aspect is underlined by the small number of foreigner tourists who arrived in agroturistic boarding houses from the central region - about 11% of the total arrivals in the countryside, the remaining 89% being domestic tourists.
