摘要：Santa María de la Antigua del Darién (1510-1524) fue la primera ciudad española en tierra firme de América. Las investigaciones arqueológicas de los años 2013-2014, impulsadas por el Instituto Colombiano de Antropología e Historia y el Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia, han identificado y delimitado el área de la ciudad. Las evidencias recolectadas en las prospecciones han sentado las bases para la hipótesis de que la ciudad habría estado conformada por dos centros distintos, correspondientes al poblado indígena que fue ocupado por las huestes de Fernández de Enciso y Núñez de Balboa en 1510, y la ciudad fundada en 1514 por el gobernador Pedro Arias de Ávila. Esta hipótesis fue confirmada con los resultados de las excavaciones de 2015, objeto del presente artículo. A través de una excavación estratigráfica de grandes dimensiones se ha podido reconocer claramente la fase de ocupación española y una fase precedente pre-hispánica.
其他摘要：Santa María de la Antigua del Darién (1510-1524) was the first Spanish city in the terra firme of America. Archaeological investigations of the years 2013-2014, promoted by the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and the Colombian Ministry of Culture, have identified and delimited the area of the Spanish town. The evidence collected in the surveys has laid the bases for the hypothesis that the city was constituted of two distinct nuclei, corresponding to the indigenous village that was occupied by the hosts of Fernández de Enciso and Núñez de Balboa in 1510 and the city founded in 1514 by the governor Pedro Arias de Ávila. This hypothesis has been confirmed by the results of the excavations of 2015, object of the present article. Through a large stratigraphic excavation the Spanish occupation phase and a former pre-Hispanic phase were clearly recognized.
