摘要:Data-driven decision making (DDDM), or the use of data to inform educational practices, has become an emerging field of interest over the past decade for educational leaders and researchers. The purpose of this quantitative study is to examine community college leaders’ perspectives on institutional DDDM practice, especially those DDDM practices for student success. We tested tenability of measures of a DDDM survey among community college leaders in the state of Iowa. We found that community college leadership competency as well as institutional DDDM culture significantly influence leaders’ perceptions of DDDM practice. Implications for policy, practice, and future research are presented. Keywords: community college leadership, data-driven decision making, leadership competency, community college student success.
