摘要:An accurate parameter estimation of chirprate and initial frequency of the linear frequency modulation(LFM) signals based on zoom modified discrete chirp Fouriertransform (MDCFT) is investigated. The first step of theproposed algorithm returns a coarse estimate of the parameterby addressing the maximum MDCFT coefficient of a LFMsignal. The coarse estimate is refined by fine search namedzoom MDCFT (Zoom-MDCFT) in the second step. Comparedto traditional brute fine search approaches, Zoom-MDCFTmethod has merit in high efficiency because it utilizes moreprior information about the MDCFT results, thus requiringfewer extra computations. Finally, computer simulations areconducted to evaluate the performance by comparison withthe Cramer–Rao lower bound. The proposed estimator showsaccurate and robust performance with the addition in theadditive white Gaussian noise.
