摘要:In recent years, the sustainability of Earth Science as a discipline has become more of an issue for schools, Higher Education (HE) and industry. As a result, stronger links between these groups are becoming a focus. Since the advent of a National Curriculum, Earth Science has been increasingly taught by non-Earth Science specialists and the teaching of fieldwork in schools has reduced. This paper outlines, for the HE community, some good practice being implemented at a school level to support non-specialist Earth Science teachers to teach fieldwork.
