摘要:The present essay proposes a conceptual dialogue between certain authors very important to contemporary sociological and anthropological theories, such as Homi Bhabha, Stuart Hall, Fredrik Barth, Paul Gilroy, Ulf Hannerz and Clifford Geertz, from a brief review of some of the main ideas, concepts and issues that cross the theme of contact and intercultural flows in a postcolonial context. In this conversation, we realize that, from different ways and traveling different paths, all the authors draw attention to the highly creative character and “additive” of the difference, which will result in an understanding of culture as a movement or process in constant transformation. In times of marked radicalism, intolerance and hate speech, it is an invitation to a way of perceiving difference as an addition and never as a restriction or contradiction.
