摘要:The rumor is generally an informal and unknown source of communication, which is transmitted from person to person in order to be believed. The rumor, which is the result of interpersonal interaction and communication, cannot escape the wrong, deficiency and exaggeration often, even though it wants to have the right information. The aim of this study was to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure the social, communication, motivational, economic and perceptual influences of athletes. The scale developed by the researchers was called ”Rumors Impact Scale Development Study in Sport (SSEÖ). Explanatory and confirmatory factor analyzes were made to the scale. As a result of these analyzes, it was observed that the scale consisted of 28 items and 5 sub-dimensions. The sub-dimensions of the scale was named as “Affected α = 0.90”, “Communication, α = 0.80”, “Motivaston, α = 0.71”, “finance, α = 0.63” and “Perception, α = 0.53”. As a result, the rumor effect scale in sport; It has been accepted as a valid and reliable measurement tool for sub-dimensions of affected, communication, motivation, finance and perception.
