摘要：The aim of this paper is to reflect on the place of women in the medieval educational process of the ninth century. This study is based on the history of education and will be done according to reflections of the Manual Christian education of my son, by Dhuoda (c. 800-843). The author was a mother belonging to the nobility, of Germanic origin, who lived in the period of the Carolingian dynasty. The proposal is to show, with the writing of this woman 'educator', the place of the feminine in medieval education of the ninth century. In cherishing the human and intellectual formation of his son, Dhuoda writes the Manual based on the classic writings of his time. In this sense, the proposal is to show that in this period there was a concern with the education of the child and, in the case of the nobility, this 'function' was female.
