摘要：The purpose of this study included two parts. Part one attempted to empirically validate an instrument that explainsmobile device privacy concerns and mobile device safety awareness. Part two investigates differences between theindependent variables of gender, age, and college status) and the dependent variables of mobile device privacyconcerns and mobile device safety awareness separately. Data were collected from a convenience sample of 147college students using mobile devices and analyzed and analyzed using exploratory factor analysis and ANOVA. Theresults are presented and discussed. Study limitations and recommendations for future research round out the paper.
