  • 摘要:Objective: Analyze the access to public information from the perspective of the organizational culture of a public university, seeking to know if educational institutions, even if they are concerned with the production and dissemination of systematized information in the form of knowledge, reveal a different organizational culture when it comes to public information Methods: Field research, with a quantitative approach, was carried out with professors and technicians from the Institute of Applied Social Sciences of the Federal University of Pará and revealed three factors of influence denominated: Legitimacy of Public Administration, Results: Misuse of Public Information and Loss of control of information and two groups: one favorable to the policy of broad access to information and another that was reluctant to disclose information. Conclusions: It was concluded that, although interviewees perceive the policy of broad access to public information as an advance in the social perspective, the perspective of the secrecy and ownership of public information still persists in the organizational culture.
