摘要:Abandoned bamboo stands are becoming a large problem throughout Japan. Efforts are taken to utilize bamboo powder to solve the current situation. Effect of powder manure made from thinned bamboos on rice growth and soil environment was investigated in the paddy field of Komono Town, Mie Prefecture. The authors compared the soil environment of the experimental field before planting and after harvesting in 2016. Organic matter content, hydrogen ion concentrations, available phosphate, and exchangeable potassium in upper plow layer were all higher than in deeper layer. The measured values before planting rice were higher than after harvesting. The difference appeared more clearly in the area given the bamboo powder manure than the area without.
