  • 摘要:The purpose of this research was characterized the operation of the declarative memory under the influence and the recognition of emotions in patients with Alzheimer's disease. The research was based on a descriptive-correlational design and a selected sample through a non-probabilistic model. Eighty adults participed, between sixty and ninety years old; forty with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's dementia in stage one, and forty with normal aging profile in pair condition without other mental, physical or neuropsychological alterations. The research shows results that are in favor of the discussion with the other studies, resulting in the impact of emotions on the declarative memory and the memory of its contents. Also, particular emotions were highlighted that enhance the amount of information that is sought out to evoke and it becomes clear how the emotional charge influences the moment of encoding and storing of the information.
