摘要:This article presents a view of the music guild in Valencia between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, revealing, on the one hand, the complex network of private and professional relationships between the musicians that favoured the creation and transmission of the repertory and, on the other, the (previously little-known) activity of travelling chapels and their institutional relations. This research was based on documentation pertaining to the Enrique Domínguez Boví (1900-1958) Bequest, recently catalogued at the Real Colegio-Seminario de Corpus Christi. Although at first sight this may not seem an attractive subject of study due to the anonymity of most of its architects, it has proven to be an excellent source of information about the music guild and the way in which it operated, the urban repertory and music distribution networks in Valencia.
