摘要:Although the Argentinian author Alberto Gerchunoff came from an Ashkenazi background, he proved to be a relentless supporter of Spanish culture, especially of its Jewish, Moorish, and Christian multi-cultural heritage. Considered the «Nestor» of Jewish literature in Argentina, he is still Latin America's most renowned representative of what has been called «the subsequent Sephardization» of Ashkenazi Jews.
