摘要:In contemporary times there is social instability and changes in the family, which create new ways of living and imposes a necessary reflection on the private sector and its multiple references. Families, places to live and care show shades of new borders and the division of time/work created by adults. Between tradition and configurations of the present time, which models are identified in the “Ethics of Care”? Are there continuities and ruptures in relationships and profiles of caregivers and family? Do we identify a fairer designation in the domestic environment? Our aim is to analyze the dynamics and performance in daily tasks by accessing debates about the dynamics, economy and gender relations as reflected in domestic daily life. Based on the quantitative and qualitative methods, we present as our operational criteria references of data collected in the “Gender and family change in the participation of parents in the daily care of children” project, which interviewed couples living in Salvador.
