摘要：The concept of production with the industrial revolution; using production factors, has changed from “the same quantity as the standard business processes to the most possible quantity, the cheapest and the fastest production”. However, the development of societies and the transformation and globalization that have taken place with the rapid change in communication and information Technologies have altered expectations from the workforce. Today’s business world expects employees to understand production processes that include dynamic systems and processes, to adapt to change and to learn continuously and to be able to re-incorporate change, rapid learning, and learning into the system and process. This change has made vocational colleges an important part of the competitive global economic order. In our country, the relevant ministries, higher education institutions, sector representatives and local governments raise their efforts to solve the problems of vocational education and to raise the workforce in a way that can meet the needs of our country and a significant amount of resource is used in line with this purpose. But the results are that the vocational training activities are not in line with the market conditions, the graduates can not find a job and our country can not have a competitive workforce, as the results of this research, international evaluations and also our country’s labor force profile are taken into account. Developed countries have begun to use an approach recently defined as Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) Trainings to combat similar problems, especially to increase the qualifications of the engineer-level workforce. STEM Trainings is an approach that incorporates all phases of education, allows the theoretical knowledge to be transformed into practice and product, and creates an environment in which the contents of the science intersect each other at different points. This study examines the benefits that FTMM education can provide for associate degree education by expressing vocational education and problems in our country.
