摘要：Remanufacturing as an end of life strategy has influenced sustainable development approaches, impacting on the set of standards and the economic and technological aspects required for the development of cleaner production systems. However, these issues are complex. There is an wide variability in the activities and the resources used from one product to the other; even if they belong to the same family of products or have the same number of parts. First, is the recovery of an end-of-life product (core) through reverse logistics tactics. Second, once the remanufacturing plants have recovered the core, the uncertainty of its origin hinders the planning activities concerning human resources, machinery and raw material purchases. In addition, the processing times are variable as they are based on the origin conditions. Success in making decisions about acceptance or rejection of products in each phase is based on the experience and skill of the operator. Therefore, a survey to assess the knowledge of the experts and to identify how they evaluate the product and make decisions in the remanufacturing process was undertaken. Data were analysed and interpreted using structural equation modelling which identified the relationships and effects between the variables.
