摘要：Energy efficient protocols have always played a vital role in conservation of energy in Wireless SensorNetwork. One of the major introduced protocols is LEACH a cluster based protocol. To improve itsperformance, an algorithm named as Maximizing the Network Lifetime of Clustered-based WSN UsingProbability of Residual Energy is introduced. This protocol improved the Cluster Head selection process ofLEACH by using the concept of residual energy. In the proposed paper, further improvement is done byenhancing the data transmission process. This process heightens the lifetime of the nodes having very lessenergy left by reducing their data transmission distance. Implemented results in MATLAB shows increasein the stability and lifetime of the network..
