摘要:Human tanapox, a mild disease characterized by a short febrile illness associated with one or more skin lesions, is important because of its possible confusion with smallpox. The article describes clinical and epidemiological features of 264 laboratory-confirmed tanapox cases observed in a geographically limited area in northern Zaire over the period 1979-83.
